Our Venetian masks are handcrafted by Venetian artisans using techniques that have remained largely unchanged for hundreds of years. From time to time new styles are created and this is one of the newest! A mask base with an almost porcelain finish is pierced with a design so that you can see through to the skin underneath, small sections of fabric are applied and then the surface of the mask is decorated with a swirling design in green, blue and copper glitter. As these items are handmade It is possible that variations may occur and we will contact you if there are major differences from the mask shown. Please note our mask photos are not to scale - to give you some idea of size the mask measures 10cm from the top of the crest to the base of the nose.
