We often ask our Venetian mask collectors why Farfallina is such a popular shape, usually the reply is connected with the large eye sections, this mask is all about the eyes. A background of matt black picked out with contrasting gloss paint and black glitter, but the real star is the line of Swarovski crystals above the eye, it is really striking, a larger crystal is used at the top of the crest. This mask ties in place with ribbons. Each mask in our Venetian Collection is unique; handcrafted by Venetian artisans using techniques that have remained largely unchanged for hundreds of years.
